HOT HOT HOT

OMG is it extremely hot, but then again you all know that. The one I feel sorry for right now is Leah, she is down in a dorm at ISU in Terre Haute for Girls State this week. Of course the only source of air she has is a fan. She is having a good time, running for the city Judge, perhaps because she has recently had experience dealing with a Judge?
Our pool is about 90 and not refreshing at all. And then there's my BF, she does not have air condition in her home, not even a window unit. I pray everyday that Ty comes and remodels her home! (its what she is holding out for) But, I am really glad summer finally got here, even if it is this hot.
Lindsey has started her field work, she hasn't worked the past few days because of the heat though, so instead she is at the DQ working there. And also she's dating a guy from North Judson, I really don't know much about him.
Lauren turned Sweet 16 on Father's Day, we went and had B-Dubs, ate their wonderful boneless wings and an amazing cake made like a VW Bug Car made from Sharon Sawaya. She has been babysitting and tonite she went on a date to see a movie...
The husband came home from work today and got in the pool, I think he wanted to run the hose in to cool it off!
We have not heard anything from the Fox...but we make sure all the cats are in at night.
To finish my blog there's only one left, me....and oh, my visitor is back...I think I am getting the poison ivy over at the other house. Our renters come next week, so I won't be mowing and perhaps I won't get this back again. It really SUCKS!

Wild Kingdom

We have a family of red fox in the "forest" behind us. The pups have been coming up to our house and we believe eating our outiside cat (Penelope's) leftover food. (Which is now picked up nightly) Have you ever heard a fox cry, bark, whine, or whatever they are doing... it sounds just awful, like a small child is being tortured. I've learned when the fox are making their sounds they are after one of our cats that got out of the garage when Lindsey comes home late from work. So the fox screeeeeching wakes me up, I run downstairs, scare the fox away and rescue one of the cats. At first I didn't know what they were up to, but today I witnessed what they want. It was 5:30 am and I let Kirby out for the day, about 2 minutes later I saw the prey being hunted as the fox came bolting from the woods after the cat. Just like on T.V. but in my own yard! I ran outside and yelled, the fox ran off, and Kirby ran over to me, he had a tooth scrape mark on his neck that Lauren found on him later in the day. Hello stupid (Me) they want a meal! It was just horrible. In my minds eye all I could see was this fox running back to the woods with our boy in his mouth. I made Kirby stay in all day, that realllly makes him mad, but I did it for his own good. I called the DNR and she told me they should all be gone in a few weeks. I say...get a 22 and shoost them.

They really need to find a home where they are wanted...because our welcome mat has just been pulled from under their paws...

Helpin Save Lives

4 of the 5 of us gave blood on Sunday at the Union Mills Legion. This is the easiest way to give a little something to help others in need. Leah was a little queezy right after she gave, then she went to Graduation, came home, and I went with her and Ryan (the BF) to our first party. We had only been there about 5 minutes and Leah almost passed out. She told me she hadn't eaten anything for hours (nice!) She was pale as a ghost, her hearing went out and she said her legs were tingly. We got some food, candy, and pop in her, then went home to rest before attending another party.
I signed all 5 of us up to give blood again in August . Lauren will be 16 by then and only needs our permission to give, she is looking forward to going with the rest of us...

Oh, by the way, I asked the Red Cross man if you can give blood after drinking the night before, his answer was yes. Perhaps Aunt Ella should have considered giving? ha ha

?CRABS?eeeeeewww

I couldn't wait any longer to post and tell you people I am thoroughly disgusted with your snide remarks! tee hee No, you were all wrong, and never listen to someones sister, especially when her name happens to be, Suzi Troyer. You goofy people, I don't have that nasty "C" word. I have.......are you ready..... POISON IVY! And it is all over my left Boob-ala. It is finally starting to go away. I have no idea how I got it this year, let alone how I got it THERE! Our friend Charlie Hiigli told Norm he had it all over his face...ha ha...real funny Chuck! But thank you for playing my game, especially you Lauren, you are the only one that really followed the rules...I would post pictures, but my sister says they look like beagle ears, so why bother! (She is a B-otch!)

Here's to another tube of Rhuli Gel! Instant relief...

And Jackie don't tell Gretchen a thing, she's like the "Town Crier" (but I Love Her)

Yearly Visitor

Hi All
Its been a little while since I've posted, so here goes...
I unfortunately got my yearly visitor back...I am always glad to see it go as quickly as possible... What is it you ask? Well, lets see, it could be many things. What comes yearly other than the Asian Long Horn Beetle, Perennials, Taxes, Birthdays, Summer Vacation for the girls, the list could go on and on! It is none of the above, I would like you to comment and let me know what you think this is? Sissy, don't comment if you know.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER...sing it. Today was day one and we got the garage all cleaned out, their Dad will be so happy! We had plans of a few friends coming over to go swimming, but it was waaaaay to chilly out!

I'll blog back in a few days after I receive a few comments.

Happy Summer Everyone!
